Issey Miyake is launching a new perfume in 2013 - they hired us to create a film that brings to life the perfume concept: 'Light on a woman's skin', and to reveal the product step by step.

It was a challenge to do this without showing the actual woman, or the skin.

Urban Branding
Projection Mapping &#38; Interactive Shop windows

For the launch of Nokia Lumia devices, we did some urban branding work for them in downtown Helsinki. We created a large animation projected on the wall of the most important department store in Helsinki. The animation was 30 meters / 100 feet wide and stayed there for one week.
Also we made some interactive windows for their flagship store where we utilized motion detectors so that interactive graphics were triggered when people passed by the windows.var switchTo5x=true;

PROCESS_N9 for NOKIA

An abstract study of the creative process - dot -&#62; line -&#62; plane -&#62; volume

PROCESS_N9 is a set of illustrations derived from the design of the NOKIA N9 device. Based on these images an animated story is created - an abstract study of the creative process. A visualization how the process itself creates a flow which guides the design and how the designer guides the flow. A story which moves from the initial first dot drawn on paper to the final volume e.g. product. This story consists of a consistent flow of visualizations which are interrupted by distractions commonly present in the creative process. PROCESS_N9 moves in a universe where it is hard to tell if it is 2D or 3D -&#62; moire patterns and playful transitions from one form to another constantly break the conception of a plain 2 dimensional imagery yet there is no 3rd dimension in the piece. This play with the 3rd dimension symbolizes the designer who is present in the process and final product- yet not seen by the user influenced by the design. The soundscape of the piece is playful, with interruptions and sudden jumps - creating contrast for the technical nature of the visuals. After all, without play the creative process is left dead before it has even begun.var switchTo5x=true;

URBAN ABSTRACT

Channel Idents / Short film

Cannes Gold Lion in Design 2010, D&#38;Ad Bronze, European Design Awards Bronze.
The second biggest commercial network in Finland, Channel 4 (TV Nelonen) commissioned us to do their break bumpers for November 2009. We created 20 pairs, in &#38; out, to be spread into beginnings and endings of each commercial break for the whole month.
Our solution was one longer piece shown online which was cut into 10 second pairs for TV.

We knew the viewers would appreciate deeper content, this enabled us to treat the project more as an art piece.
The main objective was to create something beautiful and different for the viewers, on TV and online.

Even after being aired in November 2009 the video and website are still receiving consistent daily traffic. So far the video has generated more than 2 million hits online.var switchTo5x=true;
